Question:
> I've begun meditating again with a renewed enthusiasm. I laid down today
and paid a lot of attention to listening to my body. The state of relaxation I
achieved was profound indeed. On earlier occasions, this would ultimately lead
to body paralysis, and the vibrations of kundalini would charge up the chakras,
until the energy would fill my head with white light, and astral projection and
enlightenment would result. I look forward to attaining this profound state of
consciousness yet again soon. Why can't I readily duplicate what appeared so easy
to do on that earlier occasion; I cannot fathom a reason why. On that magnificent
day, the procedure seemed so easy as I consciously went to sleep and reclaimed
the power I have lost.
Hermes Trismegistus:
What happens on many occasions is that an ascended master (in this case most
likely John the Baptist (Sandalphon) came and gave you a burst of energy to
help you along. They do this to get you to realize that it is possible and what
you can be doing down the road, after the appropriate work is done. I myself
had a couple of very easy projections in the beginning that were assisted in
this way. After that I found it much more difficult because I was doing it more
on my own energy than theirs. This energy aid at first is often the way that
astral skills (and many other skills) are developed. It is not that they are
not their helping you. Rather, they are helping you to do it on your own, so
that you do not need their help to astral project or to learn that particular
skill. Keep being persistent and you will develop this ability and any other
ability you may want in the future.
Question:
> It saddens me though that the group in San Diego, knowing some valid
occult knowledge, haven't realized the challenge of rediscovering their own
godhood while still retaining their physical vessel. It really baffles me to
what they were thinking.
Hermes Trismegistus:
Again this issue will be one that will be debated over and over with no real
answers to what really went on. However, there is a real clear message here
that I encourage all my students to learn no matter what road life leads you
on. You are the director of your own will and destiny at ALL times in your life.
NEVER NEVER give up your power or free will to anyone, no matter who they are.
This goes for the ASC training program as well. NO teacher (including myself)
or other student can direct your will or take your own will away, unless you
let them. Any teacher or fellow student that does so is NOT following an enlightened
path and is only leading to his own destruction and the destruction of others.
While 39 people may have killed themselves on that day, often, it is the will
of one person forcing his/her view of reality on others and not being strong
enough to stand on his/her own and recognize that his/her misery is just that:
his/her own misery. These people seek comfort in the fact that others feel the
same way as they do, and they go through great psychic and psychological lengths
to ensure that the whole group thinks the way he/she does. Be aware of this
pattern, because it is psychic and mental mind control. Stand clear of anybody
who sets themselves apart from the crowd and anyone that does not allow you
to think for yourself.
Another signal of this kind of personality is what I call the doom & gloom personality. There is great power in sorrow, especially when it is projected outward from a strong personality. This sorrow can and will often act like a virus infecting all people that are around it. The world is not perfect, but it certainly is not the terrible place that many of these doom & gloom types will have you believe.
So stand in your own power at all times and make the world you see around you the best that it can be. Treat each day like a precious gift to be cherished, because each day of physical life offers you more evolution than you can imagine. And for God's sake, have fun!
Question:
Why don't I believe in space ships in the tail of the Hale Bop comet? Why
don't I believe that tens of thousands of non-humans will land on earth to shock
humanity into new consciousness? Why do I believe that new consciousness is
already here?

Aliens do pose a threat to human development if they show themselves too soon.
In soon we mean before humanity on the planet is ready to deal with the issues
that they bring with them. As far as space ships in the tail of Hale Bop comet.
Don't you think that it is common sense that high-technology beings could find
a better place to hide? This bit of information is hearsay and is just more
propaganda from sources that would like to sway human consciousness to create
the alien arrival before a time of everyone's choosing. Furthermore, humans
do not need saving! Human kind is doing fine on its own! As far as tens of thousands
landing on the planet, this landing will only take place if humanity gives its
power of free will away and allows those that would have you create it into
your reality before you are ready for it. As of now, the probabilities indicate
that it will a long time off for this kind of thing. So, don't hold your breath
for this to happen; it's just not time, and your apt to turn a very dark shade
of blue waiting.
And yes! You are absolutely right! NEW consciousness is here, and the sooner humanity realizes it and stands in their own power, the sooner humanity can take full advantage of it.
Question:
Why do I feel people are like devotees to the gurus, the Ascended Masters?
I do believe (I think) that Ascended Masters are around, but why can't I see
them? Why can't I see the Angels?
Hermes Trismegistus:
Any individual or group who worships a guru or an Ascended Master is giving
away their power to a lower being. In a lower being we mean that no other individual
is greater than the God within each of you. When students first meet some of
the Ascended Masters on the nonphysical plane, the students are overwhelmed
by the light and majesty of the ascended ones. Often students drop to their
knees. What usually follows next is the Masters explaining to them that they
are NOT gods nor should they be worshipped like them. The Masters do this because
it levels the playing ground. The students understand from that point on that
they and the Masters are equal and the relationship needs to be treated in that
manner. The God within each individual reins supreme. Gurus and Ascended Masters
are teachers. They deserve respect but not worship.
The Ascended Masters are around, but not in a physical form, as you understand it. As we said above, it is very easy to meet these beings on the nonphysical plane and avail yourself of their wisdom and training. So, for the most part, a physical representation of these Masters is not needed. So, to answer your question, you most likely have met an Ascended Master or two, but not physically, in a dream or a projection, or a meditation. That really is the way they prefer to communicate with humanity, at least for now.
As far as seeing angels and guides in the physical, this too falls under the category of the nonphysical plane. We are not saying that these things do not happen and that angels and Ascended Masters do not appear in the physical dimension. What we are saying is that the preferred way is by the student reaching them on the nonphysical plane, so as to minimize the interference with physical reality and the reality that each of you are creating individually and globally.
Question:
Why does it bother me that I'm not telepathic or clairvoyant? I feel I 'ought'
to be.
Hermes Trismegistus:
About being telepathic or clairvoyant, You are already telepathic and clairvoyant,
you are just unaware of it. The currently accepted idea of what telepathy and
clairvoyance are are grossly distorted. What you are looking for here is "Parlor
Tricks." These �Parlor Tricks� are not real telepathy or clairvoyant skill.
Real telepathy involves tuning into the consciousness of another individual
and asking some kind of question and then hearing the answer in your head in
the form of a dialog. All of you do this all the time, you just don't believe
that you are really communicating with each other. However, you are. And if
you learn to trust this communication, you will find it most accurate in time.
As far as clairvoyant behavior, just learn to trust your feelings, and you will
find that you are very clairvoyant. You will be able to sense danger, energy,
negativity, other nonphysical beings when they are around. Trust me, you have
more power in these areas than you realize. The difference between someone that
has these gifts and someone that does not, is that the one that shows the gifts
is aware that he has them.
Question:
What is Ascension? And have I done it in a previous life, or is this my Only
Chance?
Hermes Trismegistus:
Ascension is the merger of your consciousness with your Monad (or Entity). It
is the annihilation of the human personality and the bringing in of the fully
conscious and divine self. Ascension in the physical body means bringing of
that self into the physical image and then staying on the planet as a fully
functional divine being. In the past, ascension meant leaving the planet and
going to the spiritual plane. What is the new twist for humanity is that fully
ascended beings (people who have merged their human self with their entity)
are now permitted to stay on the planet in service to others. However, while
this is possible, individuals of this nature, at this time are very rare. The
bare truth is that ascension in the physical form has not yet come into its
era. You are close to it. The mass ascension band wagon is a bit premature.
When students start asking about ascension, we tell them to worry more about
being the best human being they can be and then, maybe, ascension will follow,
but NOT before.
