When doing magick work in relation to the hours of the day, does daylight savings time have an impact? Daylight savings came 'early' this year, and i was wondering, how to find the TRUE planetary hour. Do I take the hour of daylight savings as the actual hour that planet came into it, or do I go to the hour before it, and does the daylight hour software on the net coincide daylight savings time? How do i know which hour is the right one. Also, can you please send me a link to find in which direction the different planets are at the different times of the day: example, where is jupiter at the different times of the day in relation to these directions. In which direction and at what time should I stand? R.

The magical hours do not concern themselves with any time zone or daylight savings time. Here is how they work.
You get out the daily newspaper and look up what time in your area the sun rises and sets. If for example the
sun rises at 6am and sets at 6pm each magical hour is exactly 60 minutes long. So the first magical hour will
be from sunrise (6am) to 7am. The second would be from 7am to 8am. However, if the sun rises at 6am but sets
at 8pm now you have 14 hours of daylight magical hours or 60 (minutes) times 14 or 840 minutes. You divide 840 by
12 (the number of magical hours) and get 70 minutes. Each magical daylight hour lasts 70 minutes. So at 6am sunrise
(your time) until 7:10am is the first magical hour. The second magical hour would be from 7:10am to 8:20am. The
third would be 8:20am to 9:30am, etc.
If you are doing the magical hours thing, you do not need to face in any direction for a specific energy. Just time your magical operations during the magical hour for the energy you are trying to collect and you will maximize that energy. If you want the energy of Mercury on Sunday for example, you would use the third magical hour. If we use the above 70 minutes example, then on Sunday from the hour of 8:20am to 9:30am would put you in the energy stream of Mercury.

Dear Hermes,
I carry around a quartz crystal with me and when I go to sleep i also put it under my pillow, I have also created the talisman asking Sandalphon for an out of body guide. I have been carrying and sleeping with both for 3 weeks now and lately my dreams have become more and more life-like. Just this morning I had a dream where there was 2 people in the room with me one of them I knew ,but the second presence I never saw physically I just sensed him/her. During that dream I was told not to move and during that time period 3 jolts of energy was shot down from my head to my feet. I did not in any way feel that this was threatening at all. Are they clearing out my chakras? What is happening exactly? What, if any, is the significance of having 3 jolts rather than 2? Thanks. J.

When a person is ready for acquiring the OBE skill, it also means that their Kundalini energy is also ready to rise. The
Kundalini energy is stored at the base of the spine. When a person is sufficiently advanced spiritually, this energy rises
upward and, as it does so, it energizes all the chakra. When it gets to the top of the spine it shoots out the top of the head
and then activates the spiritual chakra. Advanced out of body skills are contained in the spiritual chakra. So the successful rising
of the Kundalini energy is helpful, but not necessary, in your acquiring the OBE skill.
Now, if there are energy blocks along the way, the Kundalini energy rising will meet with resistance and a burning sensation from mild to painful can be felt in these spot. This process of rising and burning through the blockages along the way can take months. When all the blocks are gone the Kundalini energy shoots through the top of you head, and is done.
Your spirit guides were sending energy into this channel to help pre-burn these blockages away, so that you will have a more pleasant experience as your Kundalini rises. Why they used three instead of 2 jolts? My guess is three worked better for you than two. You may have this experience again, or you may not. It depends if they got the big blockages removed.
